I keep hearing that test dates make a difference in the content of the exams, that is, exams are generally "simpler" during summer then winter. I myself took the exam in Dec and my experience wasn't so great (well combined with the fact that I wasn't well prepared, but I'm comparing myself with a friend who was even less prepared and took the exam during summer and scored 20)😕

You just thought he was less prepared. there is some luck involved. 40 questions covering all of Bio isn't comprehensive. So you might get lucky.

I doubt it, odds are you simply got lucky on the question selection it happend to be questions that you knew (so it appeared easier).

The bio section appears like a joke if you know the topics asked well however, it seems impossible if you happen to get questions from an area your gray on.

As stated 40 questions isn't enough to cover the entire section odds are you happend by chance to get questions in areas you were stronger in.

It must be since the majority of applicants take the DAT between July-Dec.

from the RC topics the tests are still the same (at leas for that section) maybe people taking in the summer devote more time to studying than those during the semester
