Hey guys,

Because of my poor bio and orgo scores in my first attempt at DAT, I decided to take the DAT again but now I find myself in a pickle trying to decide if my new score is better than my previous one.

My old DAT scores were
PAT: 21, QR: 19, RC: 20, BIO: 17, GC: 21, OC: 17
TS: 18, AA: 19

My new DAT scores are
PAT: 25, QR: 25, RC: 19, BIO: 16, GC: 18, OC: 20
TS: 18, AA: 20

I know that the AA has gone up by one and PAT has gone up by 4 BUT my bio score was pretty crappy to begin with and now it is below the cut off line for most schools or right at cut off line for a few schools.

I have already had a few interviews (4) so far so I was hoping I could get some of your input on if I should send my new DAT scores to the schools that I have interviewed or schools that I am waiting on. Or just forget about sending it because adcom won't look beyound 16 on BIO and it will just hurt my application.

I'd appreciate all your input.

For the schools you have interviews at... call and ask anonymously...
For the schools you dont have interviews at... I would send...

i think your new scores look better, but it depends on who is looking. at my first interview, they wanted to know BIO and RC scores as they said those were best predictors on how your board scores would be. so based on that, first looks a little better.
your PAT and QR look Great!

i would send it to schools that you on't have interviews at.

the 20AA puts you into a new bracket for admissions.

wow..you are in a predicament. I would send it. Like the above post said, different bracket. Good job though!! Try not to stress too much about it.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your thoughts.
