I'm scoring quite well on Bootcamp in everything with the possible exception of bio. I took a lot of those practice tests before fully learning the material, so it's kind of difficult to see where I actually stand in that subject (since I recognize questions on retakes). I did use DatQVault for biology too, and got between 18-21 for all tests.
Here are my scores for each of the other subject practice exams on my first take:
GC: 22,17,20,18,21,24,19,23,20,22
OC: 20,20,21,23,21,21,20,20,22,21
QR: 20,20,19,19,20,19,20,24,20,30 (got lucky on that last one)
PAT: 20,21,19,20,19,20,20,20,20 (gonna take the last one today)
RC: 22,20 (only have done two, might do one more today to get strategy down)
Second take scores for GC and OC (several weeks after first):
GC: 23,26,22,30,24,24,30,25,25,24
OC: 23,22,30,25,23,23,21,22,26,23
My gen chem knowledge was pretty shoddy at first since there were a few parts of the subject I hated studying for. Once I finally went back and rewatched those videos and all, my scores improved. I don't know how much the second retake scores will be reflected in my actual score because, again, I'd seen these questions before. There were weeks in between the first and second takes, so I hope the improved scores do imply improved knowledge, but I guess we'll see.
I dunno, I'm rambling. I'm nervous, especially about biology, since I've never had any formal classes in anatomy and physiology and had to learn all of that on my own, and because there are so many questions that could show up. I'm good on the endocrine system for example, but very weak on the muscular and skeletal system, so it seems like partly chance.
Any RC advice? My current strategy is to read the first couple of paragraphs, look at a few questions, and then read the rest and try to answer.
What should I eat? Something rich in carbs, like a Larabar? Gonna skip the coffee and go for a caffeine pill to minimize any need to use the restroom. Other advice?
