What do I need to do to get all the trig questions right? Memorize the unit circle? I watched Chad's videos for the trig section- but I still don't have a good grasp on trig. What does everyone do when it comes to trig? Do people draw out the huge trig circle on the marker board before the trig section?

Watch some videos on Youtube and Khan Academy regarding trig. You don't need to memorize the entire unit circle. Stick to learning the first quadrant and then know the relationships between the other three quadrants. If you know the first quadrant, you can easily figure out all the other values for each angle in each quadrant.

Since QR is the last section on the exam, I highly doubt you will have time to draw out the circle. Memorize the trig chart here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mnemonics_in_trigonometry

That was very useful on the exam and helped me on two problems. QR comes down to practice. I hadn't taken a math class in over 10 years and was still able to get a 22 on QR. I memorized all the equations from Math Destroyer formula sheet and then repeated the tests over and over again. The QR portion will be easier than any exam from Math Destroyer.

All Students Take Calculus. I used this mneumonic to remember whcih quadrant had positive value.
(1) (2) (3) (4)

first quadrant - all sine cosine and tangent have + value
second quadrant - sine only
Third quadrant - tan only
Fourth quadrant - cosine only.

This and some trigonometry identities were all I had to do.
I did get two trig identity manipulation questions on the real thing, and I didn't have time and I kinda freaked, so I ended up guessing those two 🙂
