what would you say NBDE is "equivalent" to in terms of DAT score?

weird question i know but is 90 on the NBDE ~ 21 on DAT AA? in terms of impressiveness

I would assume it would be something of this nature...however it doesn't matter for those taking it this year and on, as the NBDE is moving to Pass/Fail, so you won't know what your exact score even is. Aim for PASS!

Just take a look at the current years NBDE scores and their average DAT scores when they entered dental school. This will vary from year to year though.

i would say more like 23 = 90

like socr said though, it doesn't mean anything now

i understand that the board has gone p/f

but I was also trying to get a better sense of the quality of students: predent -> dent

I forgot who was the one who posted the statistics, but in it, the common theme was those that did well on the DAT ended up being more successful in dental school and scoring better on the NBDE.
