Just wondering what I should be setting my computer screen to, mostly due to the PAT. Dont want to be looking at pictures at a higher resolution than what Prometric is using.

Man... people are just trying to get every single INCH of an advantage they can. The quick and dirty answer: it differs from center to center. You may get a 800x600 old school CRT. You might get a 1280x1040.

Hehe. Hey the resolution counts a lot. Ever play a game in 800x600 mode? Fuzzy. 😀 Thanks man!

I would actually prefer a smaller resolution for angle rankings. I used to practice CDP angle ranking on a 1920x1200 and always thought it was so impossible. It's much, much easier when the resolution is smaller.

Although a low resolution CRT screen helps angle ranking, it does mean more strain on your eye...

Never thoght of this question before sitting for the exam!!

If you are really concern as to the fact that the resolution of old CRT vs. CRT flat vs. LCD has sig. effect on your performance then you really need to call the center you are taking the test at instead of SDN. Every location in the country is difefrenet. Just call them, they'll should tell you.

I don't think the test is taken on a projector, I could be wrong. You can call them to check.

Not sure I want to take a test with Radon being emitted either. I know the DAT is tough but what kind of treacherous test conditions are those anyway? First they expose you to radon and then shoot a flamethrower at you. 😀
