3 people including myself took it yesterday. All reporting less than favorable scores. I think we got stuck with a hard test.

Ahhh yes! I was expecting only like 2 taxonomy questions but I kid you not I had at least 6. It was awful. QR is a different story, I felt illiterate.

🙁 I'm sorry to hear about what's been going on. Just a thought I had though, the percentiles must mean something, so even if there is an extremely difficult test, if everyone did poorly wouldn't the percentiles still be high? (regardless of the number score).

I'm not entirely sure how much schools look at percentiles which is rather unfair especially in a situation like this, but maybe you can call/e-mail some of the schools and ask them what they would think? Goodluck though! December might be pushing it a bit late, but it if you're motivated I'm sure the schools will see that determination 🙂

I just read on another thread that someone's 19 on QR was a ~90th percentile? Are schools only looking at the numbers and not really caring if the percentiles are shifting? Sounds like the people scoring the test are not informing the admissions about this shift in their scores. Realistically, shouldn't everything above a 85th percentile be considered really good?

Schools don't see the percentile.

Yeah that was my score...apparently even an 18 would be considered above average with the percentiles...so why exactly is there a cutoff of 17 lol...should prob make the cutoff 15 if that's how they will make the exam.
