Hi. I just retook the DAT, on my previous dat I got a 17 score and now i got an 18. I did saw an improvement in my organic and chemistry result. In this attempt i got PAT 21, QR 15, RC 16, Biology 16, GC 20, OC 20. Total science 18 and academic average 17. So my question is... is this a some how good test grade? Should i retake? It is kind of hard for me to just study since im on my own and i have to work and take care of my house in between other things. I used chad videos, dat destroyer and bootcamp. Please any advise would be greatly appreciate

You could be in a school where the matriculants have a 18-19 DAT, many schools are like that. So you aren't wrong. 20 is just the national average of all schools combined.

I would retake, with particular focus on raising your RC, QR, and Bio sections. If you can get those up to the same level as the rest of your scores you will be set as far as the DAT is concerned.
