if i retake the dat do all dental schools look at both dats and pick the higher score from each section? i was reading and one stated that they pick the higher score between the two. for example, i got 19 in GC in my first dat, if i get 15 in GC in my second dat then they don't care about the 15. do all dental schools look at it this way or just few dental schools do that?

does it really matter? just do the best you can and don't worry about stuff like this. it's out of your hands...

I don't think so, it depends on the schools u r applying to. Univ. of Penny. do this, so apply there. I know univ. of Sanfrancisco only look at the latest scores. I don't know about other schools, but u can call them up and ask for it.

Most schools look at the most recent scores so if you want to retake, make sure you improve your scores as a whole.

And with significantly improved scores, you're showing to the schools how you raise yourself from failure to success.
