this is such a stupid question...

how you do study for the dat??
I mean...when I do practice problems, i always have some questions wrong by not knowing it althought I think I studied enough....

If i make mistakes, it means I know what it is but make mistakes....
however, its like.....i dont know it at all even though I studied....

1) Don't get discouraged, you'll ALWAYS see things that you've "never seen before". 2.) I recently talked to a psychologist at my university about this question and he said that the biggest mistake students make when they study for big exams is that they will look over the material once or twice until they JUST feel confortable with material and then they move on. He says that all material that you "JUST" get or understand will not remain with you long and will come back to bite you on the exam. He further stressed that when you get to "that" point were you JUST understand the material, that is when you truly begin studying that material through repetition before it can eventually be stored into your long term. I really don't think you can study too hard for the exam. I've even gotten to the point on some material when I was getting bored with the material because I knew it so well (or so I thought). Then I would study it again to gurantee that I had it permently stored. Often, DAT questions don't simply ask you "off the top of your head" questions, rather questions that require you to predict what would be the answere based off of the thorough understanding you have with the material. So study, study, study and then study that same material again. 3.) Buck down and accept the fact that this may very well be the one exam that you CANNOT just binge and purge for (like we all have done so many times before in college). You just have to convince yourself that you are just goind to have to understand as much as you possibly can to the greatest extent you can handle. This may seem rough but the sooner you accept this fact the better your study efforts will be. Hope this helped! Good luck

I understand your discouragement though. DAT questions are in a you either know the material or you don't, so if do know some information about the question but you still get the question wrong regardless due to some other detail or twist you're unfamiliar with, it gives you 0% credit for ALL of the material you do know about the topic being questioned.
