datbootcamp pattern folding generator

So I've been using bootcamp to practice pattern folding and I've found myself struggling a lot with the pattern folding generator compared to when I do the test questions on bootcamp. The generator questions seem to never have any unique shapes while the test questions almost always do. Is the generator just harder and does anyone know which is a better representation of what would be on the actual DAT?

My dat only had 3-4 unique shapes and the rest were like the BC generator expect a little easier

Any tips on how to approach them?

I just practiced with the generator and compared answer choices to determine which ones were wrong and it made it that much easier to determine which one was correct
