Date of White Coat for SGU in Newcastle, UK?

    Does anyone know the date of the White Coat ceremony is for SGU students attending through the KBTGSP in Newcastle, England?

    ? One poster on here said that they only spend 1 yr in the UK,
    Our white coat was at the end of year 2.
    SGU has theirs year 1?:confused:

    yes we get our white coat a couple of days before classes start so that the parents that flew over can attend the ceremony.

    OK I heard of some schools doing this,

    For us it was the "Graduation from Basic Sciences"

    For SGU and some other US schools ( Not all) it is the introduction into medicine.

    Its all GOOD!

    yeah i don't think this white coat ceremony is such a big deal.. it's not like we even get to use that white coat until after we graduate...
