Date to Submit Final Transcripts?

I was planning to take a prerequisite course (English) over the summer, but now I am starting to worry that schools need to have our final transcripts fairly early.

Since most medical schools start in August..are they going to expect our transcripts by July 31?

Anyone with experience taking courses the summer before matriculation?

Most medical schools have something that reads along the lines of "by the time of matriculation." They'll probably know you're taking English that summer anyway and just ask for grades when they come out.

Required courses by each medical school should be taken by the time of matriculation.

Nevertheless, you can phone the medical schools you want to apply to verify.
