I was solving bio problems from datQvalut and there was one question

that confused me

1. During vitro fertilization, union of sperm and egg occurs in

(A) Urethra

(B) Ovary

(C) Uterus

(D) Petri dish

(E) Digestive tract

The answer is (A) Urethra. ?? WTH?? union occurs in urethra??
Is it true that the union of those two gametes occurs in urethra?

I put (D) but it was incorrect

Yup I remember this one. They made a mistake. During IVF, fertilization does indeed occur in a petri dish.

I found datQvault to be very accurate and detailed. Yes, it has mistakes but so do other sources. Make sure you read the explanations too bc sometimes they write the wrong answer but say the correct one in the explanation.
