Hi

What is the special "spatial" section on the DATs that everyone is talking about here? What kind of questions do they ask? I herad they have 90 of those mo-fos on the test!!!

While I'm at it, what kidn of Math questions are on the DATS?

Oh, and are the DATs in similar style to the MCATs? Like everything is based off reading passages? Or are they more straightforward questions?

Hi there,

You might want to go to your college's pre-professional advisory office and pick up a copy of the DAT application booklet. It has sample test questions from all the sections that you can look at, which will give you a good idea of how these test questions are presented.

HTH!

Tom is right on the money. If you still want a better look at some questions after that, then check out a DAT prep book at a local library or read one in a bookstore.

The DAT questions are NOT passage based, they are free-standing. The math section includes basic word problems, algebra, trig, geometry, etc. The PAT does consist of 90 questions.

Once again, you ought to check out a sample DAT in order to become familiarized with the exam.
