DATs

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Your GPA isn't as high as it could be, but it's not far below the national average for matriculated students and the Dat scores look good, so I would say don't retake. Some schools will ask you about retakes and if they know you are retaking it, they will sit on your application and not finally review it until you retake the DAT....that will throw you pretty late into the cycle.

Apply now. Your scores are respectable, in spite of a mid-range gpa. The DAT scores already suggest you are better than your gpa reflects. Retaking the DAT would only further emphasize the point with minimal benefit for this year. If you need to reapply next year, I assume your GPA will be even higher.

i know people with your stats got into best schools (top 5)
it all depends on your application and letters at this point
dont bother retaking...you never know if you are going to do better...unless sth happened when you first took it which lowered your score
i would say dont lose your hope

Come on, your score is good enough to take you into some schools. Please don't retake it!🙂 Good luck!!

I have almost the same stats, 20/21/21 but with a 3.10 GPA. I wouldn't take it over. I just turned my app. in last week, so hurry up if you haven't. Good luck to the both of us.
