Hello everyone,
I was on Reddit recently and a user posted the very sad news below, so I wanted to reach out to the SDN community as well:
I just saw this in a comment for one of the PremedHQ physics videos, but it turns out that the guy who was making these MCAT-prep videos, Dave Carlson, is a UCSD Med student recovering from complications with a brain tumor that he battled in 2017.
There is a news article on NBC San Diego to shed more light on the situation and a GoFundMe page created by his sister to accept donations to help offset his medical expenses. Unfortunately, since I do not meet SDN's minimum posting requirements, I am not allowed to post any links, but both links can be found posted by TestingSolutions below.
I just wanted to share the GoFundMe page for anyone who had learned from his MCAT videos in the past and is interested in donating. I know a lot of people on this sub have recommended his videos and thought it would be a good way to help him.
