Day-By-Day Interview Invite Data

More curiosity than necessity here, but does anyone have data on which days of the week specific schools offer interview invites? It seems as if some schools will offer II on the same two days at the same time each week whereas others will send them out seemingly at random. It'd be interesting to see the differences in patterns between schools.

For what end? planning, coordinating, and running an interview day is a tremendous amount of work for schools and why they plan certain days seems mostly to do with their school specific needs than any pattern.

I think OP is actually asking for a compilation of what days and times schools send out the invites, not when they interview. As for the why? I'm assuming to unnecessarily feed neuroticism

Exactly what I was trying to get at. As for the why? A bit my own neuroticism, a bit of everyone else on SDN, and lastly a way to distract myself by doing some data analysis. Thinking of compiling II times from SDN by school and day to put it into a chart. Thanks for clarifying for me!

Oh my mistake. This changes my answer completely. Since every school evaluates and decides on II by a variety of mechanisms and there would appear no hypothesis to be proven and any possible pattern found is likely do to chance than anything else

It's an interesting idea! The issue here is that people don't necessarily report their II on the day it was received. The sample size of each thread is also likely too small to reliably identify the most popular days.

Hell, I purposefully didn't post my II on the day received so that I could better preserve my anonymity.
