Does anyone have any recent info about hourly rates for the DC area for new grads. I am familiar with the area and the groups, but I am hearing numbers that are lower than the published "averages". I know there are a few folks on the forum that are in the DC area. Any help would be appreciated. I have been talking with a few of the groups and I get the feeling I am being given a low number and so, I am looking to try to define my range for the offer/counter offer process that is about to begin. I know about the whole benefits package and that you have to add 20-30K based on that but, I want to define the hourly rate (and average clinical hours)

Thanks

Feel free to PM me, as I have been out 1.5 years, but you right on the money. The DC area pays some of the lowest, unfortunately. I interviewed at quite a few places in the communtiy and can give you some insight, as well as what places to avoid.
