I can see it a few different ways, and it all depends on how active/present the wolves are. They may have realized BBE was going down and said "crap, we've lost two wolves in the first two lynches; we can't afford not to get a kill" and opted to avoid lynching BBE. I'm not saying that's what happened; just that I can see circumstances where they may have ducked it thinking it'd be no big deal.

All of that said, my hunch is we're chasing a red herring. I don't think the wolves ability to kill would have been impacted, based on the way my message was worded anyway. But that's just my guess/interpretation.

I agree...I'm not really sold that we have it narrowed down to so few. That being said, it certainly is a place to start looking.
 
Random OT: Not sure why I have an X below my user title in my posts in response to Allie, but then not in response to LIS? Silly forums.
 
Seriously? We don't need a lot of PMs tonight what with everyone on fire, but none of them are in. Night deadline is 6am central as usual. So WS, you don't have to worry about changing times.

Yup, no argument there. It's not an unreasonable guess, and I'd start there, too. I'm just saying I think it's pretty unlikely to be a factor. But since I don't have better ideas at the moment......

OK. Thanks. I'll *enjoy* my PT, and other hospital crap prepping for surgery, without worrying about lynch deadlines changing haha! (phone doesn't work in hospital 🙁 )

Surgery in 2 weeks. Just doing pre-fitting for braces and bloodwork and whatnot. And yes, actual PT. They don't usually do PT before surgery, but I'm a special case apparently, because it's taking so long. Tore my ACL, did some minor damage to MCL and LCL. Bone contusions where femur and tibia meet. Fun times. It's been a fun 6 weeks. Doesn't usually take so long for them to do surgery(will be 8 weeks post incident, usually it's 3-4 weeks post incident) but I'm on work comp and they are slow as molasses approving everything and I had some major swelling due to the extra injuries.

Sorry i missed the fun of wild speculation, but didn't bbe say that her death has 'consequences' ? Maybe even she and the wolves didn't know what happened. This is the first I've seen a mechanism like this... Pain in the ass, but I kinda like it. I've seen people be able to take others out with them, but disable everyone that voted for them?

That being said, I would think that a mod that goes by the book, sets their rules and sticks to them (Doce, Jdh) would have it block the wolf kill, but a more dungeon master like mod that will tweak midgame to help the balance or solve an unforeseen issue (I fit in this, as do most mods), seeing the wolves are getting violated right now, might tweak things(give them their kill).

And you never know... I wouldn't assume if we have no kill tonight it means anything, maybe the wolves would use it as cover for a conversion.

I agree this gives us a bit of guidance for investigation/blocking/etc, I just wouldn't be alarmed if this is a wild goose chase to give the wolves a chance to catch up
 
After Volcana burned everyone around her after the lynch yesterday, everyone had to spend the night recovering. However, it seems her revenge was not quite finished; in the morning one hero in particular appears to be more badly burned than the rest. In fact, dyachei isn't moving, and her skin is seared as black as her leotard. Dyachei, Raven, is dead before she could utilize her telepathic abilities to speak with those who died before her. Guess she won't be sharing secrets with anyone anymore...

If the write ups can be read as lore (see: many mods do not always do this and it frustrates old schoolers like myself), then there wasnt neccessarily a free wolf. The death was via Volcana burning, not via another wolf's attack. At least per the write up.
 
BTW: I have been either silenced or disabled every single round. Silence, disabled, burned.

I am way too popular a target. Why doesn't everyone just give me a little holiday from being targeted.

I dunno. Writeup sounds like bbe killed her as well... Dyachei was the first vote for bbe, so it could have been predefined like that, or it could have been targeted since dyachei was the one that called her out.

Ok I will admit I didn't read the write up all the way through. I'm really bad about just seeing who is dead lol. Maybe dyachei died because she was the first to vote for BBe?
 
I really dislike this not being able to click on replies to the thread and then clicking on one person's replies and just being able to go through their responses... it made ww so nice... I could focus on each player separately... Now I have to read through the entire thread... 😡

It does sound like BBE was responsible for Dyachei's death... the exact mechanism doesn't really matter. I assume the wolves knew this, so they had no reason to avoid bandwagoning. We can still check out those who didn't join in, but now I feel like there was less reason for them to avoid the bandwagon.

Nasty mechanism for villagers... can't protect the person who helped out BBE, and that person gets killed. Sorry Dyachei. Now go read all of BBE's posts VERY carefully looking for TOS infractions....😛 jk.

I noticed this too. Dislike.

So I need to get off SDN for my own good today. I know I will want to check in, but will be resisting.....first OSCE and I need my game face. So for now lynch Allie only because she's one of the people I've been a little suspicious of and I need to get a vote in. I will hopefully be able to re-check and waffle if needed this evening....pending how much alcohol I consume after this ****show....
 
I have a busy day today... classes straight through for the next 4 hours, then dinner and ghost tours tonight with friends...

Going to say lynch SOV, for now, will try to check back later if I have a moment.

I actually have allie #2 on my list. But #1, for repeatedly making my gut feel like something is very very wrong with them: Lupin. (note: this early in the game, my list of suspicious players is high and there is a giant tie at 3rd place haha)

Now to go somewhere that I'll have little-to-no internet until 1pm. Hooray for being unable to explain my hunches to anyone for 1/4 of a day. (Not that I would be able to qualify why I feel they've made 4 different 'fishy' posts. But I can quantify them as four)
