What are you guys opinion on these 3 programs? (Pros / Cons) If possible compare to MCV/VCU program

1) Georgetown University Hospital Program (ID: 140-10-21-091)
2) Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center Program (ID: 140-10-11-097)
3) George Washington University Program (ID: 140-10-21-093)

What are you guys opinion on these 3 programs? (Pros / Cons) If possible compare to MCV/VCU program and what type of score?
By the way what is the different between the 2 Georgetown program?

Thank you guys

First off, are we talking internal medicine?

Also, the most obvious difference between the two Georgetown programs is that one is at Georgetown University Hospital, and one is at Washington Hospital Center.

From what I know, I've heard that Georgetown has a more competitive (malignant) environment in internal medicine. Washington Hospital tends to admit those with scores >95. And with GWU, I don't really know, but a lot of the FAQ are posted on their website.

I think there are other threads on this...you can search for them.

It's been about 5 years since I interviewed, but at the time Georgetown had a somewhat more academic reputation vs. GWU, but also seemed a little malignant, though the program director seemed cool. I don't know if it's still the same guy.... GWU house staff seemed happier and more laid back, and all were given their own palm pilots. I liked the hospital, though it is kind of small. I liked the opportunity to work with other specialties (i.e. the ICU was mixed with anesthesia, surgery and IM residents in there). The fellowship matches looked better for Georgetown vs. GWU. Some of the GWU residents didn't seem much interested in their careers...were all about living in DC, etc. Georgetown at that time was trying to merge with Wash Hospital Center, but I guess they ended up keeping it as two separate IM residencies.
