I am sure that many of you have received the same E-mail, but here it goes:

The Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation has awarded provisional accreditation status to Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, Harrogate, TN. The college will have an initial class size of 150 students.

DCOM will be enrolling its first class in August 2007 and is now available for designation on the AACOMAS application web site. Applicants who have already submitted their applications may designate additional colleges by logging on to the AACOMAS web site
http://aacomas.aacom.org and selecting designation and adding. Applicants who have not yet submitted their applications will find the new college on the designation list.

If you have any questions about DCOM, please contact them directly; questions about the AACOMAS process should be directed to [email protected].

Vice President for Research and Application Services

Thanks, I guess I am out of the loop a bit, dam this semester. Sorry about that, I briefly scanned the threads and didn't catch anything on it. I thought that was kind of odd.

Er.., that link doesn't seem to be working for me. But anyhoo, does anyone know about its hospital affiliations/clerkships, and if they'd be good for someone wanting to do an allo specialty?

Also do they give preference to TN residents?

150 students? they really are jumping into it. GAPCOM only opened with 80 and they had a network of hospitals to rely on besides the ones they were creating in Georgia.

It was a search ID that has since expired. Just search the DO forum for "DeBusk" and you'll get the same results.
