So I'm heading into my fourth year of college: I was pre dental till my sophomore year before I changed my major from PSYCH to accounting. Here are my science stats:

Gen chem 1: B (lec) A in lab
Gen chem 2: B+ (lec) B- in lab
Calculus 1: C ( taken as a first semester freshman stupid idea)
PSYCH Stats: B-
Biology 1: F-->NC( first semester freshman)
Biology 2: W first time. Second time F.
I can retake bio 2 a third time but it would look horrible.

Do I have a chance even if I go for a masters?

What’s your overall GPA as well as your BCP GPA? Do you have an upper trend? Either way you’ll have to retake Bio 2 again and at least get a C since it’s a prerequisite for pretty much all schools.

It's an uphill battle for sure, but if you really want it, then take a bunch of upper science courses to get your BCP gpa up to like a 3.5, retake your bio for at least a B+, and then work your ass off to get a 22 or something on the bio part of the DAT.

The problem is you already retook your Bio classes and performed poorly again. If you do a masters, you HAVE to do extremely well in your classes. Also, ACE the DAT to show schools that although your grades aren't the best, you've still learned the information.

So I took a quick look at your post history and you’ve been making these threads since sophomore year of college. Have you changed your study habits since then? You really need to buckle down and completely turn around your grades if you’re serious about dental school. Since your GPA is around 3.1 and you’re already senior, the only way to prove to admissions committees that you’re capable is by demonstrating a strong upper trend. You should only be aiming for straight As from now on. Also, you will need to shoot for a 22+ on the DAT. If you are committed to this, then I would postpone graduating and stay an extra year and take upperdiv science classes and do extremely well (especially if your school gives you need-based financial aid). If not, I would take time off from school and work for a while, and then return to dentistry if you’re still interested in the future.
