Perhaps if you feel the forum is looking haggard of late, it would be more constructive to introduce a new topic, or offer suggestions to inject new enthusiasm, rather than merely further bland observations.
Contributions to this forum are highly cyclical and are prone to dearths of posting during periods when the med students are away on winter break and residents/fellows are working extra shifts for holiday coverage. The forum is not, as you say from your 4 post position of authority, "dead".
