Hey y'all,

So I am already verified and have submitted all of my LORs (science, non-science, MD/DO) to AMCAS/AACOMAS, but my clinical supervisor said she won't get hers done until mid-August(!) 😱 since she's at the final stages of her DrPH dissertation.

Would it be fine if I submit her LOR in mid-August? I know LORs from clinical supervisors aren't required for most schools, but I know hers would be very strong since she knows me really well, and she can also talk about my interactions with patients.

There's also a clinical volunteer supervisor whom I could ask; he also knows me quite well and has written me a reference in the past, but I feel like his LOR wouldn't hold as much weight compared to a LOR from an employer. Should I still go about asking him for a LOR, instead?

Let me know what y'all think, thanks!
