Soft Deadline for Applying

Had my primary verified and sent to my original list of 23 schools on 7/3. I've been heavily weighing sending my app to another 3 reading more about them here on the forums. While we are a decent way out from the hard deadline, is there a soft deadline where adding schools past a certain date is just a waste of time and money?

Arguably I think Labor Day weekend is the turning point. I would get your primaries to these later schools in before the end of the month before the schools have orientation.

I generally think that everything, including secondary and letters, should be in by Labor Day so if you can get those final 3 turned around in the next six weeks, you should be fine.
