Deadline to Decline seat

Hey guys,

Is there a deadline to decline your seat at a Pharmacy school? I got the acceptance letters and have made my decision but I don't know when or how to tell the other schools I don't want to attend their program.

There's no deadline on the acceptance packages so would notifying them earlier than later be better?

Sooner is definitely better than later. There are so many people who probably really want those spots at the other schools and are just waiting to hear back. So the sooner you let the admission committee know the sooner other people can hear back. Also most schools require a deposit to hold the seat, the one i got only gave me two weeks to decide, so if the other schools did the same thing your seat may already have been forfeited.

I don't understand. You already know were you will definitely attend, and have been accepted there, but you don't know when you should decline the others?
Common courtesy says the sooner the better.

These guys said it best; do it as soon as you can to give someone else another shot! One of my best friends is on a wait list to med school and it would make her day if she got a call like that!
