I just got declined from nova and i was wondering if i could call or find out other ways to figure out why was my application as competent as others.
any suggestions?
If I get rejected from my state schools I will definitely call and ask why. For the private schools though it seems like there are just so many qualified applicants, that I figure it's a subjective selection to a certain extent.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to call and ask what was lacking in your application. Just be polite and take it from the point of view of " what is lacking in my application so I know what to work on next cycle if need be". There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. When I applied two cycles ago to Nova, I got rejected and called and asked. They told me my DAT was not high enough.
You have NOTHING to lose and A LOT to learn from calling. Good luck with it and keep your head up.

you have a great overall gpa, and a great sgpa, if i had to guess, nova has stated that they like students who majored within the sciences; students with a heavy science background. It may also be that the 18 in GC on your DAT hurt your chances. However, you have a great DAT, and a fantastic GPA...you'll definitely get in somewhere!! I'd put money on that
