Hi-
I wasn't sure if I could put Dean's List in the "Honors/Awards" section of the application. If so, how do you indicate that you were on the Dean's List for more than one semester?

What about National Biology Honors Society such as Beta-Beta-Beta? Can you put it there as well?

Dean's list recognition should be evident in your GPA, there's no need to have that in Honors/Awards. As for honors societies, the only one possibly worth mentioning is Phi Beta Kappa.

I'd rather put the Dean's list than have nothing there, though! 🙂 Even if it is totally evident...

However, if you're needing more space, Dean's list should definitely be the first to go.

Not really true. Most people receive Phi Beta Kappa at the end of their undergrad career, so that won't be applicable to most. Tri-Beta is a biological society and is relevant as well.

I'm putting the honor society stuff down. I was not Phi Beta Kappa, but I was part of a couple of others and I feel like it's worth mentioning because it's certainly not going to hurt my application, even if it doesn't really help.

As for Dean's List, I put it down, but it's also something they can gather from your GPA I'm sure.
