Please advise me what should I do. So my first 2 years at a university has not been the best and i had to retake 3 science classes. Because of this my current GPA is:
Cumulative: 3.5
Science: 2.82
I am finishing up my fifth year at a university and was going to apply to dental schools but my science GPA is just so bad because of those 3 classes. I def have an upper trend but I was advised by one dental school to just wait and take 1 year of just full time science classes (that would be my 6th year) I calculated my science gpa if i got all A's and it would go up to 3.2 Should i just wait and extend my graduation and take the 6th year of just science courses. By the way im a business major and Im 22 years old! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP! I AM REALLY AT A CROSSROADS HERE
I think that your sci GPA might be a liability, but ppl have gotten into dental school with similar GPAs, but why make your life more difficult? Have you thought about the DAT yet? What does your time-frame for the next couple months look like otherwise?

Hey I went to CSUS too! Were you in the predental club '08-'09 school year?
Not to mention that this is the op' s third thread on the same subject. I wonder if he realizes there's a clinical definition for people who keep repeating the same action hoping for a different result. You are given advice from someone that certainly counts and is more knowledgeable but you believe that the SDN forum is a better source.
Yes I was. Do you mind telling me what schools you got accepted to and what was your gpa/dat?
Just curious
