Hi, would anyone of you be kindly to share your debt status during/post optometry school? i'm sure many of us are interested to know what kind of financial situation we should generally expect post-graduation. thanks!

Please post your school, year, and your expected debt.

You're going to need to extend the range on your poll. Unless you're independently wealthy, a "non-traditional student" or your folks are helping you out, I don't see how anyone paying out of state tuition can make it out of school with less than 100,000 in debt and probably more like 150,000 on up with undergrad debt included. On top of that, the students entering school now don't have the great interest rates that many of us have gotten over the previous few years. I think its also important to know whether the student is paying in or out of state tuition.

I'd suggest something more like:

Under 40,000
40,000-80,000
80,000-120,000
120,000-160,000
160,000 on up

I'd be in that last category. I'm a 4th year at IU.

How do I change the poll?
