***Can anyone answer any of these highly anticipated questions?***

1. Does anyone know when in December we should be recieiving any information about if we have been accepted 😀 , rejected :scared: , or put on hold for further review 😱 and from what school?

2. What is the interview to acceptance rate at any of the following schools?
(ANYBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!)

A. Marquette
B. NYU
C. Boston
D. Tufts

3. What are the odds of getting 4 interviews by Dec 1st, and not getting into any of those schools?

4. What is Marquette's deal? Anyone that has got an interview from Marquette, when did you get it and when is it scheduled for, just so those of us who are freaking out can get a rough idea of what is going on?

Thank you to those you participate in answering these questions, and GOOD LUCK to all of you!!!!!

3. Depends on your stats

1. On or after Dec 1. This varies from school to school as does notification method.

4. i got interviewed by marquette about a month ago. for more information search my previous posts.

1. If you had your interviews before 10/31, then I think mostly early December, at least that's what most schools told me. Some probably even on Dec 1st. I think I'll wait until Dec.6-7 then call schools that I didn't hear from.

3. Anything between 0-100%. Really it's same as flipping coins 4 times (you'll get 50/50 stat. chance no matter how many times you flip). Strong candidates will get into all 4, weak candidates will not get into any. So, depending on your app. But having more interviews at least make you feel safer, doesn't it. ^_^

Actually, I changed my mind after thinking about it for few minutes. 😀

I think more interviews you get, more chance you have in getting into "some" dental school. One thing I noticed from my interviews are that each schools really look for slightly different types of candidate that best suit their teaching philosophy. So, I think the more interviews you have, the more chance some school might feel "this is the type of students we are looking for".

As for your specific case, 4 interviews, I can't really comment because that's about average # most people had here on SDN. If you had like 10 interviews so far, I would probably say, "yeah most likely". With 4, really depends on how strong a candidate you are. Good luck! Wish me some luck too~

at one school, i had an interview on the first day of interviews and at the other, the third day. I hope i'll here on dec. 1st
