I have not gotten a single interview and it's late December. And yes, I've been panicking. AS I've been bouncing between getting an MPH and going Caribbean but I can't firmly decide on a backup plan. Public health sounds interesting, but I don't think I want to pursue it as a career. Given my financial situation, I also don't think its worth shelling out that sort of money for a degree thats unlikely to help me in the admissions process (please correct me if I'm wrong). Caribbean also sounds like a huge gamble. My stats are low (3.3 cGPA, 2.9 sGPA, 26 MCAT). I have lots of work experience and solid LORs, but I know it'll be hard for schools to seriously consider me with these numbers.
Did any of you have similar stats to me and ended up getting accepted into med school? What advice would you give me?
