I've waited a long time just to post on this forum, and initially just read everything on here in awe. A good bunch of people on here I must say.

Anyways, how are you all doing in the waiting game? I know it's not a new topic - December 1.

Ouch, it's a real anx though I have to admit, and finding activities in the interim which practice my manual dexterity is not helping 😀

Neither is the *****ic daily walk to the mailbox for that matter (heck it's still November!).

Ayee! Anyone else care to share in their pain 😉
Heheh...I'm sure we can make the remainder of the wait a little interesting be collaborating on the experience.
Hopefully it will only be a one time experience for all applicants!
Or maybe they'll make me wait till February 1st...

oh yeah....dec. 1st is finally almost upon us...however, I was at UCLA for an interview yesterday and they told us that they'll mail out their acceptances on Friday, and then it'll take 3-7 business days for it to reach us depending on where we are....they made it sound like most schools will be doing it this way, which would mean that I won't hear until mid-to-late next week....I know, I should shut up and stop complaining, but it seems to keep dragging on!

I've found XBox to be a great way to keep those manual dexerity skills honed in the meantime!

hey, it's too bad that I didn't get a chance to meet you - I wanted to say thanks for all the great info you've given me. Maybe you saw me? I was wearing a black suit (like everyone else) with a purple shirt underneath. The flying back and forth and going to school at the same time is really a killer!

anyway, I better respond to this posting and say -- the covetted day is almost here!!! 🙂 In the mean time, I have a lot of finals to start procrastinating for, which I find this board useful for. 😀 it's all great fun.

Anyways, just curious with regards to how many people waiting on Dec 1st with jagged nails, are currently in Univ. finishing a course of study,
Vs.
Graduates, Grad. School Graduands playing Console Video Games? <and waiting of course> 😉

(I personally prefer Racing games btw)

Actually, thats the only reason I bought the PS2.
The GT3 Race Pack, which is only fun against someone else, unless you want to practice licensure at the DMV, in the game.
Favourite Cars: FTO LM Race Car, CLK Touring Car, CTR2, Raybrix NSX. =)

GT3 is definitely sweet, no doubt about it, but I've found Project Gotham Racing on xbox to be right up there too....the ferrari spyder is damn fine....!

ricegirl...yeah, too bad we missed each other...I'm sure I saw you at some point waiting in the hallway outside the old office (waiting seemed to be the biggest part of the day at UCLA)...I as well was donned in black with a blue shirt and gold tie (was tryin' the bruins' colors, 'ya know?)...anyway, best of luck on finals!

I have to admit, the tv.ad for Project Gotham is inticing. Especially when they mention the physics of skidding as being a function of the game - then it compares to GT3.
Speed without Control ya know.
