Hi everyone,
I'm kind of in a bind at what to do about this one particular course.
I originally took a statistics course at my home institution and received a B-. One school that I am applying to would require me to retake the course so on my application I indicated through OTCAS that I am retaking it through a distance learning program.
I'm not sure at this point I want to continue taking the course because it's a little bit different than I had expected and do not want to risk my gpa. I am also worried that other schools may look at my application and not consider my application or give me a solid decision until I complete the course although I have reached their grade requirement.
Do you think that it is advisable to email the admission counselors for the schools and let them know I am not planning on continuing to retake the course or do you think it would negatively impact my admission chances? Or should I just wait it out and see?
