Hey, all.

I am looking for a good entry review article into the world of decision making. I am gaining some interest in that area, but don't really know too much about it quite yet. Anyone here have any good article suggestions?

Thanks!

Not an article, but a very easy read, Stumbling on Happiness by Daniel Gilbert. It might spark some specific areas of interest for you. It addresses things like how we think about the future (when making decisions), etc.

Here is a review article about the role of orbital frontal cortex in decision making: Wallis, J. D. (2007). Orbitofrontal cortex and its contribution to decision-making. Annual Review of Neuroscience, 30(1), 31-56.

Look into Daniel Kahneman's work. He won the nobel prize in 2002 for his work in decision making, specifically with his formulation of prospect theory. The annual reviews are also good.

For a pop psych overview, Jonah Lehrer also has a good book called How We Decide. (I think that's the name of the author)
