decision rendered?

3 days after my interview at SUNY-Buffalo my status page online says "decision rendered." I wonder if this is a good thing....
also, should i call them on monday and ask them about the decision? i hope it's something good 🙂

I applied to Buffalo last year, and after an interview I at first got "waitlisted" on my status page which a month later changed to "accepted/lettered." There was never a "decision rendered" intermediate.

Sorry buddy but i was in the same situation and the outcome is not good. I interviewed at buffalo and my status page displayed decision rendered. I called them to ask them what decision rendered meant and they told me that a decision was made but that i can be a acceptance or rejection. i was rejected a week later.i think this was a ploy to not make me feel bad as people who were accepted had accepted on their status page.

Since someone else pulled the trigger, I will confirm this bad news. I'm sorry, but I received a "decision rendered" on my page and it was a pre-interview rejection. Best of luck elsewhere.

This is a tricky one, but I believe "no action" means that "no action" has been taken. 😀

my page said "no action" until after I received my interview invite (first via email, then snail). It now has the date I am confirmed for an interview on there. I was complete october 31st. good luck, don't worry about the no action I think.

I was complete a month later than you. Apparently it's nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Hey, when did you get your invite? I was complete Nov. 6th. Although it doesn't really go linearly since I'm sure they got like a bazillion apps in between, but it'd be nice to have something to try to guess by haha.

december 6th i believe...my interview is the 10th🙂 good luck.

I'll sum it up:

Acceptance = you're in
Wait list = post-interview hold
Decision rendered = rejection
No Action = pre-interview hold

They get back to applicants very fast. They had my decision ready two days after I interviewed (wait list). When I asked when I should expect another review, they said to wait until Feb.

I've had 14 no actions (pre-interview holds) and 2 outright rejections. Zero interviews either scheduled or completed👎
