Decisions on UIC

Does UIC give out rejections as early as the first two decision dates? Has any1 been rejected post-interview yet there for class of 2011? Do they usually just put people on hold or waitlist rather than give out rejections this early? Thanks to anyone who answers this in advance.

I haven't interviewed at UIC Med yet, but yesterday I checked my status online👎 :

A final decision was made on your application on . Please allow two-weeks to receive the correspondence in the mail. If you do not receive this correspondence in two-weeks, please contact the Admissions Office. No decision will be given over the telephone.

I did however interview last year and was put on hold until no spots were unavailable.. don't know if this is relevant in arriving at a "final decision" pre-interview this time around..

I got this too...I am kinda bummed...I think it is a rejection...I have average stats (3.5, 28 MCAT)...so I was thinking that at least they would wait till near the end...i dunno...how do guys feel?

SORRY to hear about this. Maybe it's a mistake, hey if you're applying to Rush, I'm sure you used to them by now, right?! Anyhow, I was just wondering, did it tell you this news when you clicked on the Red "Next" button at the bottom, or was this on the main page when you logged in?

I logged on as normal...then clicked the next button and received the message...so...not sure if it would be any different...anyway, I've read so many ppl having the ability to pick their scheduling date on the status page, so that is why I believe it is most likely a rejection letter🙁 ...a mistake..maybe...but does seem a bit early to start outright rejections...no?
