declaring major question...

i am currentlly attending the local community college knocking out some basics before i transfer to the local university. my question is do i need to declare my major in biology now or wait until i transfer to the major university?

Hmmm... that might vary according to the policy of both schools - you'd do well to check. My inclination would be to delay declaring if possible. Keep your options open.

Doesn't matter when you declare. More to the point, majoring in bio is optional. Pick a major that truly interests you so that you're not a cookie cutter candidate. If that's bio, fine. You can major in music or history or graphic design or business if you want, as long as you finish a year each, with labs, of genchem, ochem, bio and physics.

Oh, and get A's. That's really important.
