Planning to apply DO in a couple years.

Took Biology + Lab for non science majors 20+ years ago.

Should I retake the science major version for admission purposes?

Alternatively, can I just take an upper level Bio class to replace it?

I know some schools screen for age of Biology courses.

What would be the best course of action?

Yes. You might not be able to take upper level courses unless you take biology for science majors. A lot has changed in the last 20 years.

Retake. You'll need it for MCAT
