My university has a lot of interesting psychology classes that are somewhat related to my major (physiology) and medicine in general. Abnormal Psychology, Philosophy & Psychiatry, Health Psychology, etc.

I know psych is probably a cookie-cutter minor, but I'm not doing it for the resume builder (Since it isn't that significant anyway), but I genuinely find psychology interesting and it would give me more to talk about in interviews for med school down the road.

Plus, I need quite a few upper-division electives to fulfill 120 credits for my major anyway. I'd rather declare a minor in a field I'm interested in and knock out those electives that way rather than taking a bunch of random gen ed. classes.

Thoughts?

Go for it man. A minor is usually for something you have interest but do not want to major in. I plan to minor in music, works for me, and for med schools. Do what you like, psychology is a great elective.
