Hey Folks,

I was fortunate enough to score an acceptance fairly early on in this cycle. I was looking back at my transcript and just noticed that I would be unable to complete my minor that I indicated on AMCAS, but still be fulfilling my major class requirements and graduate prior to matriculation with good grades. If I am able to graduate on time with my major indicated but not my minor, would my acceptance be in jeopardy? Should I let the school that I decide on attending know?

Dude... you were once worried about...

Now you're worried about dropping a minor affecting admissions decisions?

Planned coursework and activities are planned. And that's also why they aren't given much weight.

Congratulations to you! Ask the school to confirm this advice.

Thanks for the advice! You’re right lol I need to take some time away from the forums, been on them for too long.

I did exactly this when I was in your shoes. I had one more class I didn’t want to take so I dropped my minor. It’s fine, nobody cares.

Congrats!

Oh also- once you get closer to school starting, DM me (or search a thread) for how to study and etc. not right now though. Your job for the next 8 months or so is to have as much fun as possible, exercise, sleep 9 hours every night, etc
