Hi guys! So I accepted an offer given to me in November, but now I’ve received an offer from another college that I would like to accept. Who should I email to give up my seat? What should I say to let them know I will no longer be attending their school?

Email the admissions office. In your acceptance email/letter there should be some kind of sentence stating what you should do if you change your mind followed by the email or contact. If not, that email address should work. When emailing them, thank them for the opportunity and that you appreciate it followed by a sweet and simple "I've been accepting this offer and will not be attending X University".
Nothing complicated 🙂

There wasn’t a sentence stating who to contact if I change my mind in the acceptance email. So you mean emailing the general college’s admission’s office? Or the actual PT program admission? Sorry if that’s a stupid question

I e-mailed the PT program admissions officer, as well as the graduate admissions department and said the following:

- I must withdraw my acceptance from the DPT Program at _________ as I have accepted a seat at another program.
- I hope my withdrawing opens up a spot for someone who has the means and desire to attend the program.
- Please send my thanks to Dr. ___________, the students from the tour, and the admissions committee.
- Thank you _________ for all of the help you have provided during this admissions process. I wish you all and the program the best in the future.

That's it, no hard feelings.

First, accept the new offer, submit deposit (if required), and get confirmation of your acceptance. Then email the other school. Just say you decided not to attend their school, so they can give your seat to another candidate. You can throw a cliche sentence there thanking them for considering you as a potential student.
