I just removed myself from the LSU waitlist - could not take that bio, and thought I wasn't even in consideration. So hopefully this helps someone out! (not that I know where I was on the list!) 🙂
 
I just checked the little box to decline Ohio State. Man, that was really hard. Good luck to those on the waitlist!

I am declining admission to Ohio and Wisconsin. I'm out of state for both schools.
 
I just dropped off declines in the mail to Michigan, Tufts, and Ohio. All great schools, it was a very tough decision! I'm OOS for Michigan and Ohio, IS Tufts
 
For those who were wondering, I found out my official CSU rank today. You can PM me if you would like to know it.
 
I am declining admission to RVC. I'll be declining either Ohio or PEI if I could just make up my freaking mind. I declined my interview at Florida and am still deciding whether or not to stick out the Tufts wait list.
 
I have declined admission to Tuskegee. Hope this helps the alternate list by opening up at least one seat.
 
I will be declining admission to UW-Madison for my in-state. Good luck to those on the waitlist.
 
I'm declining CSU, NCSU, and Oregon (OOS at all of them). Sorry it took me so long guys! Good luck to everyone still waiting - I hope some of you get my spots!
 
I removed myself from the Wisconsin waitlist and am gathering the courage to decline Illinois - just haven't brought myself to do it yet (I also want to make sure all my prerequisite ducks are in a row with Davis first.)

Well, if you can get enough Cornell in-staters to decline so that I get off the waitlist there then I will give up my spot at MN! Deal? 🙂
 
I will be sending in my declines to Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan as well as removing myself from the waitlist at VMRCVM and Wisconsin (all OOS). I hope that helps some of you out!!

bump - Thought I'd bump this to keep it updated now that a handful of people have added to the final decisions thread.
 
Declined admissions to St. George's and Ross today.
 
I'm taking myself off the purdue OOS waitlist and the wisconsin waitlist...Although my number was pretty crappy (scratch that, REALLY crappy) for wisconsin so I don't know if that will help anyone!
 
I have sent in my declines for Oregon State and Washington State (WICHE), and will very likely be sending in my declines for Illinois and Purdue (OOS). Good luck everyone 🙂

How can you get in-state at IL, do you mean after the first years for the second through forth years?

Also congratulations for getting into IL!
 
Tomorrow I am mailing my forms to decline offers at Kansas State (OOS), Iowa State (OOS), University of Wisconsin (OOS), and Virginia-Maryland (IS). Lots of luck and have fun to whomever gets those spots. I think they're all really excellent schools. 🙂
 
Once I actually take a look at and send in all the necessary paperwork for Tennessee, I'll be declining RVC and removing myself from the IL waitlist. I hope that helps someone, but from what they told me, the IL OOS waitlist doesn't really move much, but maybe it'll do something!
 
I'll be declining admission to LSU, UTK, and most likely Illinois (all OOS) and removing myself from the waitlists at Kansas State, Iowa State (#22), and Ohio State (#4). Hope that helps some of you!

You don't know how much this means to me seeing that you have chosen to go somewhere else. I got alternate as an AL Resident for Auburn and I hate the sitting around and waiting since we don't know how many alternates they chose and where I am on the list. This would be a dream come true cause I am about to finish my MS degree in Muscle foods and I am soo ready to start vet school....Thanks again for the chance for myself and others. Good luck with all of your endeavors.

First of all Thank u thank u thank u. I am on the alternate lists for WSU, MSU and Uof MN, so you've helped my chances a little!

Does anyone know when alternates will actually start hearing? And is it generally phone, mail or e-mail? Anyone know?

I believe how they contact you differs from school to school. MSU said they would call us as seats opened up. Ive heard in the past the lists start to move after april 15th :luck::banana:
 
Just sent Penn an email telling them I'm not going. Good luck to all the ones who are still waiting!
