Hi, is there anyway to defer an acceptance to DO school? I am still trying to wrap up my other degree here (I don’t want to give this up after 2 years of investment in it). How should I ask for deferral? After I paid my deposit? Or before?

Well. I just received my acceptance today.

Edit: it's not even an official email. I just received a phone call from the school early in the morning. I haven't asked the school about deferral yet, but I prob should soon.

You know, Pineapple(s) , it's really difficult for a Canadian applicant to gain admission to a US medical school.
Lightning may not strike twice for you.
I don't believe this would be approved as a valid reason for deferral.
Speak to your current school and see if you can pause progress on your Masters degree at the end of this semester.
