deferarral of an acceptance

Hi...this is kind of a weird question but does anyone know if it is possible to defer an acceptance at a med school untill the following year? If it is possible, what do the schools count as a valid reason for wanting to defer enrolment until the following year? Thanks

Just check with the individual schools...EARLY after acceptance. if they can defer you and accept another person, it might make them more amenable to allowing it.

If you want to defer, you better have a really great reason to bring to your school. Some schools will defer, but not for trival reasons.
