deferred letter

hi all,
Did anyone write a deferred letter before? Any advise? Would they keep a seat for you next year ? The school will start in sept.
Is it too late to write this letter ?

i think most schools won't let you defer unless you got a serious medical condition....good luck

I just deferred my admission for this year and they did agree to keep a seat for me next year provided I let them know by March that I am still interested in their school.
Talk to the admission ppl before you make a formal request to make sure that they guarantee a spot for you in next years class and have any promises they make in writing from the school.
