Got deferred pre-II from NJMS ED, my state school. They state they will review again during regular decision, however I am wondering if anyone has actually ever gotten an II following this? Or is this most likely an outright rejection? Can’t really find anything online about this. Thanks.

You're not going to get person-specific data on this, and it isn't actionable anyways. They're doing you a favor by telling you early so that you can proceed with a regular application.
Notably, in your WAMC you mentioned that you interviewed there last year but didn't get in. What was new about your application this year that would get them interested to revisit that decision this year?

Hi, I have accrued ~2000 more hours as a scribe, started volunteer EMS and clinical volunteering positions, as well as continued my research. I also rewrote the majority of my personal statement, and added a new letter of rec from an NJMS alumnus (not sure if that's a boost or anything though lol).

Those are significant improvements. I think as you were previously told, you're lacking a minimum number of nonclinical volunteering hours which could continue to hinder your results.
In any event, I suspect they just didn't want to use one of their limited ED interview slots on someone that they have already met, and as you previously said you thought your interview there did not go well. They may give you another shot later this fall, or they might not. Regardless, the actionable takeaway from this should be that you really need to get more volunteering outside of a clinical setting.

Oh sorry, I must have missed it/forgotten to respond. I applied ED prior to knowing about the consultation visit, I scheduled one anyways and they said to focus on why medicine/what has changed on my secondaries, which I attempted. They had not mentioned anything about my experiences though. I did pick up a non clinical volunteering position, however only did so after submitting the primary, but I did list it on my secondary.
