Deferring after May 15th? Anyone done it?

If I was accepted to medical school regular-decision (not EDP, not from waitlist), am I going to have a harder time deferring after May 15th? Which is two days from now, obviously.

i think it depends on the school. one school that i know of specifically says that it will become harder after june 1. but in any case i think you should make your decision soon, because it will allow them to accept one more person now 🙂

The decision is not in my hands. It's in the hands of someone who may or may not choose to accept me to a certain research position next year.

But thanks for letting me know that at least one school seems to indicate it will be harder 😳. I appreciate the information.
