I completed all the requirements for my MPH, but my degree is not conferred. I have been accepted into a US allo. Do you think my school will kick me out if my degree is complete but not conferred? It won't be conferred until next year, because my school only confers degrees once a year. Kinda getting paranoid about this.

what's the hold up, when is the degree expected to be conferred?

My understanding is that you are expected to have completed all required coursework for your degree, as long as it is complete, then you should be fine. You can always explain the situation to the allo school and ask them what they'd like you to do.

i finished one of my requirements in the summer. My school only confers degrees once a year so it won't be conferred until next year. stupid policy..

Ah, something I know!

I did an SMP for a year + a summer, with the degree to be conferred at the August commencement. Due to a few weird problems on the school's end, our program got stretched until October. They didn't have graduation until December.

In December, I was already halfway through year 1 at that school. They didn't care, and even had the diplomas dated August 4.
